6 Days Serengeti Migration Safari

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with pick-up in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. This park offers a beautiful introduction to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, with its wide-open landscapes, giant baobab trees, and excellent wildlife viewing. Tarangire is especially known for its impressive elephant population and peaceful safari atmosphere, making it a rewarding first stop before continuing deeper into the safari circuit.

After arriving at the park, you will begin your first game drive and start exploring the varied landscapes that make Tarangire so attractive. Day 2: Tarangire – Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from the highlands and open countryside to the endless plains that have made the Serengeti famous around the world. As you enter the park, the scenery opens dramatically, and the feeling of being in one of Africa’s greatest wildlife areas becomes immediate.

You will enjoy a game drive as you make your way toward your camp or lodge in Central Serengeti. This area is an excellent base because it offers strong wildlife viewing year-round and places you within reach of different migration zones depending on the season. Day 3: Full Day Serengeti Migration Safari

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti in search of the Great Migration and the many predators that follow the herds. In general, the migration moves through the southern plains, western corridor, and northern areas of the Serengeti ecosystem as the herds search for fresh grazing. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of Tanzania’s most remarkable natural settings.
